Glory to your glory, Morning Glory

Glory to your glory, Morning Glory.

Your silence is music of the highest order.
I listen and I see your face is turned to love those whose love for you
is single-pointed as the light that reaches from a star.
You beckon with serious urgency, but not to me.
Your face awakes in me compassion for your journey today, for those winged workers who will instantly adore you, and who will be nourished by you.
Compassion for your little life,
and for mine.

    1. Briana Cooper, as with all these rare occasions when lightening (sic) strikes my most sacred space, I recall my position in front of this Morning Glory, what my feet were standing on, how my skin felt and the gentle rush of words which arrived in intimate dialogue with the flower.

When in this envelope of light, I cannot trace back where my words come from.

I can think of two other such powerfully radiant moments, as on these two EveryNow links:

I am sorry I’m so late to pick up on your appreciative comment, Briana.
